October is here and the weather is starting to cool down. That means cold nights for those living outside. We have seen snow in the Midwest and cool days in the Northeast.
Luckily, many of our groups of volunteers have gone back to making the sleeping bags so they can be distributed to those who desperately need them.
We here in the Northeast have been busy too. We have been fortunate to have gathered sleeping bags from surrounding groups to start making deliveries to the shelters. We want to be able to keep up with the demand this year because it will be a bad year with all that has happened to our country.
With your help, we will be able to reach out to our Homeless Neighbors who are sleeping on the cold ground and give them some warmth for the night.
