November 2016

Thank You Mesa, Az.

We truly appreciate your update on the lifesaving work you are doing.

I had the privilege of visiting with your “ugly quilters” group many years ago. It was the year you celebrated your 1000th sleeping bag.

This project is now 34 years old and you have created 15,500 sleeping bags. Your group of men and women have had a hand in helping many suffering Homeless neighbors and have saved lives of those you have no knowledge of.

GOD has blessed all of you, as you have blessed so many.

October 2016

The end of the year is closing in fast and it’s time to evaluate the work that each group has done. The people that help with donations and those that sew, would love to know who we are able to help. Here in Hop Bottom, PA, we print out a list of the shelters that we were able to assist in the year passed. We give that list to everyone who stops by or contributes in any way. This ties us all together in our goal to prevent hypothermia in the homeless population.

Our goal is to help keep people alive until they can be helped or healed by others in our society.

If this serves you well, let us know how your group is doing, be it big or small it all matters.

Don’ forget to send us group pictures and let us know where you are from.
