2020 has turned out to be very scary and unpredictable. Who would have guessed that we would all be put into a situation where we need to “hide” from each other.
Now, by having a new normal of wearing face masks and keeping a “social distance” between us, we can gather again carefully and start to do the things we were doing before this coronavirus came into our lives.
We know that many people have lost their jobs or have reconfigured how they work. This means that the homelessness in our country will be growing and we need your help.
Helping us with making the sleeping bags would be so helpful.
If you are not able to help us with the sewing, monetary donations to help pay for the maintenance and gas for the delivery van would be very welcome.
Since the start of this year (because of the virus), people have been reluctant to donate to non-profits.
We do need your assistance so we can help our homeless neighbors stay warm. Everybody at the Sleeping Bag Project is a volunteer. No one gets paid. 100% of your donation goes into keeping this project running.
