July 2011

Today, I would like to say “Thank You” to the Donna DiGilio and the women of  St. Giles R.C. Church, who have made 3000 sleeping bags for the homeless in the Chicago area. In 1995, when the Family Circle Magazine article came out tell the world there was a project out there to prevent hypothermia in the homeless population, Donna and 20 Friends of My Brothers’ Keeper started making ugly quilts.

THANK YOU, you wonderful women. You are the heart and hand of CHRIST.

P.S. Please write and tell us what you are doing to help the homeless.

It is the only way we would know about you and your work.
